Bone saw

A bone saw is used to quickly cut meat with large bones, frozen products and fish into even portions. Unlike a butcher block or a meat grinder, this machine keeps raw-material waste to a minimum, delivers a smooth cut and saves staff a great deal of effort in meat-processing plants and restaurants.

  • Power: Models are fitted with motors rated from 750 W to 2.2 kW. Higher power is intended for heavy workloads and continuous cutting of frozen meat.
  • Slice thickness adjustment: Depending on the model, the cutting range runs from a few millimeters up to 31 cm, so steaks or soup bones can be cut into precise portions to suit the menu.
  • Blade length: The size of the blade (for example, from 1650 mm to 210 cm) determines the maximum height of a piece the machine can cut in one pass.
  • Power supply: There are models that run on a standard 220 V supply, as well as dual-voltage (220/380 V) models for production facilities.

When choosing a machine, consider the size of the work table and the housing material — a stainless steel construction is easy to clean and stands up to daily sanitizing.
